Even though I haven't posted pictures yet, I am venting!
OK...what in the hell made me cut bangs in August? Seriously. I must have sniffed some product at the salon. I can't make it through a full day without pinning them back and the style is hit or miss. The bangs look a little wired when I just blow dry, and look better hours later. Ugh. DH tells me I look chic. He goes, "Please keep the hair!" I tell him, "You have NO hair. Do not live vicariously through mine!"

Hey Lana,
I hear you on the bangs. I cut them a while back and they were IMPOSSIBLE to style. I had the same wirey look. I also pinned them back or wore headbands constantly and they took forever to grow out...

hmmmmm did you try blowing them in the opposite direction or flat ironing them?

No flat iron; i have one...i could try that!!! The girl told me if they are misbehaving, hold the blower over my head, aiming it down. That seems to work. This weather isn't helping and I hate to put product in the bangs b/c that's greasy to me...I'm a mess! ha ha! However, when it comes out nicely, they look great.

I actually think when they grow out, I will like them, just to the point when they look like a long side bang or even enough for me to create that front "puff" look I like.

I just got bangs myself and they can be kinda maddening. I like the way they look but no one has said anything so I wonder if they look bad.
ETA: I blow dry them down and I put a little bit of spray to keep them brushed to the side.

My EX-stylist cut short layers into my hair last month. My hair was almost fully grown out, down to my bra strap.
She cut and cut and cut. I cried and cried and cried.
I wear bobby pins when I'm at home and want it off my face.
I feel your pain.

hmmm im trying to remember if i gave you or someone else a bad warning abouut bangs
nonethless- they are sooo annoying! and i felt your pain for months
invest in some black stretchy headbands - they were my bff when my bangs got in the way

wait a sec, Mel. I remember when you cut yours...I thought you loved them? From what I recall, mine look like yours did. My angle is at the shoulder, slanted front...not all long like yours but I do recall your bang pics.

I have made that mistake in the summer as well and it bites!! Before you know it the weather will cool down and you'll be back to loving it!!
