Makeup Help
I feel like I am in High School.  I have no clue about makeup and my friend said she got Bare Minerals and loved it...I was on here and read good things about Physicians Formula too.
I want to spend money and have nice makeup to help my oily skin.
I am Colombian and have olive skin but getting older (32) I see I am starting to get laugh lines around the eyes..UGH!
Please offer any help or recommendations??? I am lost and want to go shopping for makeup instead of cheap out...thanks in advance?

I love BE makeup. I have been using it for the past 4 years. I would DEFINITELY recommend it. I have heard mixed info on Physican's Formula. If you have a Sephora near you, go there and try on the BE. Also, ask the ladies for info!!

I love BM. it can be a little bit messy, but IMO, worth it.
here's a tip for you... get the starter kit at Ulta. if you don't like it, you can return it. just say it made you break out or something like that. you can also have someone there apply it for you to test it out.

i use laura mercier tinted moisturizer, concelor and loose powder. and my makeup is mostly from mac. i hear you about the lines.....thats why i marched myself to a dermetologist! im preventing NOW

Hey Chica, I'm colombian also and I use Bare Minerals, Benefit and Mac.
Definitely hit sephora and Mac and ask them to give you a demonstration, you will buy the products they use on you.

Thanks Everyone! My SIL is taking me to Ulta tomorrow for some serious shopping...I am going to get BM foundation and some other goodies!

I bought the BE kit...Love it and watched the DVD...hehe
I bought 3 revlon eyeshadows (4 in a case each)
Cover girl mixes of lipgloss, lipstick, and liners
Revlon Blush
CG clear lash and black mascara
and signed up for an Ulta Gift Card...

I use Laura Mercier tinted oil free moisterizer and Estee lauder concealer. I use a light bronzer from Stila and their blush as well.
Under all that stuff I use an acne medication that just controls the oil and the Benefit Photo Finish.
I use all Stila eyeshadow and the pot for eyeliner. Channel Mascara.
Lips I use Estee Lauder liner and either Channel lipgloss or Stila lip plumper gloss.
I have doing this routine for a few months and love the results...my skin has been looking great! Kinda a hodge podge of brands but it's working!

I love Bare Essentuals. I get it in Sephora but there are also good deals on kits (face, and eyes) on QVC.
