Re: Breaded chicken cultets

I fry them first to make them crispy and than stick them in the oven on 325 for about 15-20 minutes. They come out perfect!

Re: Breaded chicken cultets

i bread them and then I brown on both sides in oil in a frying pan on medium heat.

then, bake them at 350 for 20 minutes

cut one in half before removing, if its almost beige with a slight slight hint of peachy pink in the center- they are done
take them out, let them sit for 5 minutes while they continue to cook (chicken cooks for 5 minutes more after removing)

they should be perfect after sitting out for 5-8 minutes

its a long process but they come out great!

I do this also. You do not want them sticking to the pan.

Re: Breaded chicken cultets

i get the thin cutlets and bake for 1/2 hr at like 400 for 25-30 min. (don't flip so the bread crumb doesn't come off)

Re: Breaded chicken cultets

I bread mine then spray with a spray oil so it's lightly coated on both sides. Then bake for about 25-30 minutes. The spray coats it more evenly then just drizzling the oil over it.

Re: Breaded chicken cultets

i soak mine in milk first for at least an hour before breading. helps keep them juicy. If i'm baking them, i actually use cornflakes mixed with a bit of "i can't believe it's not butter" and garlic powder, instead of breadcrumbs. i feel it ends up crispier
