I would ask before hand. One store said 10 (jericho), another store told me 25(college point)  and another store said 15-30 (flushing). You just needed to show them your rewards card or id.

Wow. You're kids are lucky they get to use crayons and glue, my first graders don't get their hands on them unless its a holiday or June 23rd.
