I am going to Myrtle Beach next week (leaving this friday) so I am going to go in the following Monday and spend the whole week there getting ready!!!

mine is set up already- I met my new co-teacher and we have been going for about 2 hours a couple of times a week.

Depends on your school...ask around in your building. Mine get checked and I must have standards, comments (on post its), sufficient student work etc

I am not going in early this year- I'm moving into a new room so I can't do much till the other teacher moves out. And since she is the UFT rep, I know she won't be there any sooner than contractually required.

i'm done! went in last week and the week before. i am going to italy tonight and won't be back til Sept. 2nd. the custodian on my wing loves me and he was so good to make sure that my room was the first one cleaned and waxed so i got in there right away. granted, i only have 6 kids, so my room is small. the room i push into part of the day is being set up by the general ed. teacher.... i feel bad leaving her with it all though!!
am i crazy not being back until LABOR DAY!!! oh, well..... it's always crzy the first week anyway, might as well be not worry now!

We're supposed to go back the 30th, but we're allowed to go back the 28th. I'm debating going in for 3 hours on Tuesday and WEdnesday or just go in wednesday.

I have to go in tomorrow to get some books and I will probably see about going there either next week some time or the beginning of the following week to set up. I'll probably plan to spend 1 full day there.

Next week, if I can get in my room. We've had summer SACC (after school child care) in our school this summer... and they don't leave until Tuesday. But I'm pretty sure my new room wasn't used, so I'm hoping to get in then.

Me too! They are redoing the vents in the school, there was mold in my room and was really sick end of the year. I tried to get in but UGH the place was a mess...want to go next week to start.

I'm going in on Monday. Hopefully I can get it done within 3 days. I had to wait for the custodians to clean the room. I should be getting my class list today!
