Hair recommendation..Please!!
Looking for a new salon, I need a colorist as well as a stylist.
I live in the Lindenhurst area but would be willing to travel.
I need an appoitnment for next weekend so I want to start calling around now.

I go to Maximus in Westbury. Vanessa is my colorist and Helen cuts my hair. I love it there.

This is a bit of a trip but I have been going to Jason Royce in Woodbury for years now.
My stylist is Nelza and my colorist is Eddie.
I love them both!

Billy (the owner) does my highlights! I love it there and have been going to him for 7-8 years I think!

I go to Laurie D at Salon Pop in Roslyn. She's amazing, and plan to travel to her when I move. She does my color and cuts my hair.

I goto Salon De Caro in North Babylon - on 231 just north of the Southern state. It's in the King Kullen shopping center.
Kirk does both my color and cut. He's a little weird, but he does a great job. He just doesnt slap on a color and be done with it, he checks it and makes recommendations for changes, etc. He's also 75% deaf, so sometimes with the dryers and all of the chatter going he read lips - you need to speak up a little or repeat yourself sometimes. But it's worth it.

i go to marcus at privee in east islip for cut and color. he used to be with harvey allen salon in merrick and when he left, i loved him so much i just make the trip to e. islip now.
it's a kerestase (sp?) salon, so you leave with the softest hair, he does a killer blowout and to top it off, they give you wine there!

I just went there today for the first time. I love my haircut. I will definately will be going back!
