Why have I gotten 3 phone calls in the past week for interviews for schools within 10 minutes of my house.
Where were you a month ago when I was complaining I didn't have a job?

It can't hurt to go on those interviews--people switch jobs all the time! You have to do what is best for you!!
They wouldn't think twice of denying anyone tenure or letting them go because of budgets failing, low numbers, etc. I'd go on the interviews and see!!!!!

that happened to me the day I signed on at my school. My old high school called and offered me a position without an interview. Sadly I turned it down.
