Clipping a dog's toenails?

Do you do it yourself or do you take your dog to someone?

Re: Clipping a dog's toenails?

I do it myself. I use a dremmel actually, not a clipper. It's much easier and I don't have to worry about cutting the quick!

I can do Boomers' on my own, Bailey either needs to be held down by DaDa, or we get hers done at the vet. The more often you do it, the less chance of hurting them

My DH does it. At first, she hated it and squirmed all over but now she is perfectly calm and sits still.

I take Gus to Petsmart...one worker has to hold him in a headlock while the other cuts his nails, I wish he would just let me do it....
