just booked a last min trip to Mystic
besides the obvious., i.e. aquarium, the village, mystic pizza... what are the good things to do, and good places to eat?
we leave tomorrow at noon.

we just went a few weeks back-where are you staying??
i loved the seaport and aquarium. the vilage is also really cute too
we went to mohegan-tons of restaurants! foxwoods is also there too
ahh now i wanna go back!!!
we ate at the longhouse steakhouse in mohegan-best steak i ever had!!!!

We are staying at the Hyatt Place.. I was able to use my AMEX points, and we are only paying like 100 bucks for two nights...
I am a vegetarian-- so, I am thinking the steak place is out. :)

S&P Oyster Company is great, right on the water near the bridge in Mystic!!!
Lots of fun shops and resturaunts as well!

If you want to take a day trip out of the Mystic area you can take the ferry to Block Island or even Martha's Vienyard. The beach in Westerly (Misquamicut) is really nice.

that's a great idea... I have always wanted to go to Martha's Vineyard. Maybe we can do that on Sat after we have exhausted what Mystic has to offer.

It's alittle pricy, but it only takes 90 min. Here's a link to the ferry webiste...
