Re: IEPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Wow! You have to print them all out?
We get copies from the special ed office.

I won't know my supervisory list until tomorrow. Then tomorrow and the rest of the week is paper work time.

Do you use iepdirect?

Sp. Ed. prints them and gives them to me. I'm so thankful for that b/c the other speech pathologist and myself currently have 80 students combined!!! We think they might hire a .5 for us!

We're able to do that at home. I'm the case manager for the nine students I printed out. I keep them locked up in a cabinet at school.

We can access or print from anywhere too! And I agree, as long as they are locked up in school that is what matters.

Re: IEPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

My school provides us with a couple of copies then I photocopy at the school. I did that once from home but that was way too much paper from my bank account..

Re: IEPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

i can access mine online at anytime via IEP direct.com. great program! also, my school provides me with 2 hard copies of each IEP on the first day of school.

when i do IEP progress reports at report card time, i print them out using a laser printer at my school. if i'm really busy or in a bind, our IEP secretary does them for us.

The Spec. Ed. dept. also prints mine for me too. I wish I had your caseload! I have a caseload alone of about 60-65 just for myself, and the other speech pathologist has about the same.

i was kidding - i know with IEP direct you can access them anywhere - but legally you are not supposed to really do that, they should be kepted locked up they are confidential

what i was jokling about was that if they are home - they arent locked up - so really your not supposed to but everyone does.. and i have haha

I know what you mean, and I take IEP stuff seriously. As a special ed. teacher, we have printing rights to IEPs, rights that gen. ed. teachers do not have. The nine IEPs I printed were done so legally.

I noticed you were kidding, but I don't joke about legal IEP issues. So sorry. Chat Icon

And, as a matter of fact, they are locked up at my home. I'm just not going to announce that. I have a large safe that that is spaceous enough to accommodate 9 IEPs until I bring them to school and lock them in my filing cabinet.

Watch out for those IEP police!

I ask myself the same question! Sometimes I work and get paid on one of my preps. The paperwork is insane though!
