clomid ?

My doctor has said that I am not ovulating regularly and has prescribed clomid. He said I need to begin taking it on cycle day 5 (2 pills per day for 5 days). My question is... once I start the clomid, when do I start the baby dance and for how many days do we baby dance? (My doctor said to have intercourse every other day so as not to deplete the sperm). thank you for your help.

My cycle tends to be around 30-32 days and I found I ovulated a little earlier while taking clomid (around CD17). If you want to play it safe you could start with the OPK's around CD9 or 10. Not knowing anything about your cycle I would also say start BD'ing around CD10 every other day.

I took clomid and I would ovulate around cd 20. My typical cycle was 34 days.

If you are on clomid you should be monitored. I am suprised you are starting off with 100mg....but at that level, you should go in on cd 15, for a baseline sonogram, to see the size of your follies, since you are ending the clomid on cd9.

Those that take clomid cd3-7 go in for u/s cd 10

After the u/s you will have a better idea of when you may ovulate. Honestly, otherwise, it can be at anytime. Use opks and chart....
