I have a gym membership at LA Fitness ($50/month). I signed up for personal training there as well. For 2X a week, it's an additional $232 a month.
So far, I LOVE it but it depends on what trainer you work with. Some are better than others.
ETA: The sessions are a half hour each

i pay $350 for 10 1 hour sessions (it's a package). a single 1 hour session is $45.
I use a PT through my gym, which is the local YMCA

I pay like $765 (i think) for 10 sessions at NYSC. It's expensive, but i LOVE my trainer. I go 2 times a week and I can def see a difference since working out with him. I wouldn't do half the things he has me do without him, and I don't have to worry about picking the weight, seat height.. all that annoy stuff that honestly makes me walk away from a machine..lol
Edited to add that it's 10 1 hour sessions.

It is $35 for a half hour or $70 an hour at my gym. Definately worth it, even if for a few sessions.
