Cerification question??
Am I supposed to change my certifications so that they are in my married name?

I didn't. I just have a copy of my marriage license in my file at school.

I was told we didn't have to bc certification goes by your SS number, not name. Then you would have to pay again to have another certification processed - not worth it IMO
ETA: I already had my permanent cert. when I got married, otherwise I would have changed it

I did... I figured it would be best if everything was consistent. i had one permanent certifcate to change .... it was $25.00 for a name change.
i had a provisional certificate, but i didn't do a name change. rather, i just used my married name when i applied for the permanent.
