The whalewatching trip!!

So DH and I took my parents on a whalewatching trip out of Boston harbor. It was AMAZING. It's a huge catamaran boat that leaves from the New England Aquarium dock. We had an absolute blast. Totally worth the $$. We spent the afternoon at the aquarium after and had dinner in the harbor. But this was definitely the highlight.

Here is a short video of what we saw. Please ignore the awe-struck commentary (we sound like babbling idiots) We were truly amazed...

So cool! We did a whale watching trip on a cruise and it wasn't as good as that. Looks like you guys had a great experience!

Those Humpbacks are so curious about humans- they came right up to the boat and did a little show! It was adorable.

Nice! I'm so excited for you that the whalewatching was great! I want to do this next year, now!!

Can I just find the catamaran trip through the Aquarium?

My DH is a whale fanatic! We do this every year up in Boston. It's a fun afternoon! Although the first time we went out of Boston, I got really sea sick

Yes! If you go onto the aquarium website (http://www.neaq.org) click on whale watch. You can either make reservations online or do it at the kiosk in front of the aquarium..

You can leave out of Provincetown too on the Cape but both boats go to the same sanctuary and there ARE rough waters out there. I brought those seabands with me and I was fine. We had 2-4 foot swells at times and it was rocky but not too bad...
