I loved it. It didn't bother me that is was mainly fiction. The story was good anyway.

Re: A Million Little Pieces

I read it before the big scandal broke, I really enjoyed it. I am not sure how I would view it if I read it now, knowing that a lot of the story was fabricated.

I was halfway through My Friend Leonard when Frey was outed, and I have to say, my opinion of that book did change while I was reading it. I found a lot more of the second book unbelievable than the first.

Re: A Million Little Pieces

LOVED it... but that was before he was "outed".

Regardless-- fiction, or manufactured non-fiction, it's an amazing book, as is My Friend Leonard.

I thought it was good - although I found myself struggling to finish it at the end, it was a little drawn out.

Re: A Million Little Pieces

I really, really liked this book but wished I had read it before the whole Oprah "outing" incident. I think I would've been more affected by it had I not had thoughts of "wonder if this really happened?" in my head.

I still think it was a great book and I feel like he only changed some details of things that really happened so it's not like he blatantly made stuff up.
