Ugh . . . I am so upset . . .(re: WW meetings)
The leader I have been going to for the past 3 years had her last day today. She announced it last week, but I didn't go. I was so upset to find this out today. She really played such a huge roll in my success. I am so worried that it is not going to be the same and that I am not going to be as successful now that there will be a new leader . . . .

I've only known her for a few months & I feel *lost* thinking of going to a meeting w/out her. I can't imagine what it must feel like for you.

I would be so upset if my leader left too... she was out one week and it just wasnt the same...
i think you should definitely look into being a leader yourself!! That sounds like an awesome opportunity to inspire other people just like you have been inspired.

I was thinking the same thing. If you haven't thought about it, you should consider it. Your sucess & encouragement comes through in your posts. I can only imagine how motivating you'd be in person.
I know how you feel about having a key person being part of your success. I feel the same way about my leader.
I also know that you are the person that did it. Many people in my group who say the leader isn't a good leader because they're not losing weight - it's not the leader that puts the food in their mouths. The flip side of it is you are the one who stayed on the path & reached your goal.

AH, so it IS you! LOL- I am so incredibly shy (if you haven't already noticed.) All this time I have been saying to myself - "is that her?"  
BTW- it really does stink- I hope it's not a guy- no offense to the men out there . . . .

Thanks for all of your encouraging words and compliments. I am far to shy to be a leader. otherwise I would definitely consider it . . . . I am much better behind the scenes and at a keyboard  You are all so sweet though. . .

She was not able to say who her replacement is, but said she was very pleased with the choice . . . . .

I'm sorry! Try not to let it discourage you too much! I hope you like the next leader just as much!
I love my leader, and I have been on WW twice before, but this leader really inspires me, so I know how important it is to have someone you really like

I know I am so bummed that Lynn is leaving. She was awesome and so motivating. Lori and I looked at each other and burst into tears when we all stood to give her a standing ovation. As I was leaving I said "Thank you for everything" and she said "But you know you all ready have everything" and I was like that is Lynn right there. She was a real gem.
I agree with you and hope the replacement is not a man.
