I did mine myself (mind you it was almost twelve years ago...)
Most of my friends wo are teachers kind of pass it around to each other and we help out with suggestions.
(if you dont go prof., I am sure we can even do that here.... )

nope...did it all myself and got a lot of interviews from it.... also cover letter was key.... make them want to read your resume next. the cover letter is almost more important, IMO

I had both my resume and cover letter done by a professional education specialists. The women both were administrators in Nassau Districts.
I had tried for 4 years to get out of the city. Once I sent out the cover letter and resume they created for me, I had 4 interviews within a week. I was offered all 4 jobs. It was a god sent for me.
We did the same with my husband a year later and he had the same results.

Wow that't terrific!! did you know these administrators? Any tips on how I can find someone like that to help me improve my resume? Thank you!!

I'm not sure if they are still around since I had mine done in 1998 and Dh had his done in 1999. Please Fm me if you'd like their names.
I think they would have been stupid to stop offereing this service because they did an awesome job and they were booked for weeks!!! They had something like 89% of their clients get jobs. They also offered mock interviews.
