WHat's your opinion? Do they have a leg to stand on?
Personally, I'm shocked that they would follow through on a suit that essentially says to their daughters, "we wanted 1 of you and we're upset we got both of you." I guess some people don't view having multiples as a blessing

I worked in med mal law for a long time, and I know the attorneys I worked for wouldn't take a case like that. A jury would HATE it.

That is total crap! I dont think they have a leg to stand on they assumed the risk by putting in more than one embryo. They dont deserve twins... I feel bad for the kids! Thats terrible!

For some reason the video won't load on my computer but I take it they did IVF, implanted more than one embryo, but are upset they have more than one child? Do I have this correct?
I just can't understand, at all, why they would be upset. They should be completely overjoyed.

From an adjoining article I read, it seems that the woman signed a consent saying 2 was alright. She apparently then asked for only one in the OR.

The paperwork for IVF is very thorough... lots of legalese to cover the clinics.
I would think from a legal perspective that the doctor would be obliged to follow whatever it said on the paperwork. I am sure it was notarized, etc. and not follow her sudden change of heart. She could have changed her mind on a whim, he could have implanted one, she may not have gotten pregnant and she would have sued in that case as well.
Legally, I don't think the couple has a case.
Apart from the legal aspects, again, they should be grateful that they went rom having no children to two.

AND i WOULD AGAIN ALSO.
These stories make me sick when I have friends home crying every month over a negative. What pieces of garbage.
This will come back to bite them in the *** for sure.
