So after tomorrow teacher cannot use the copier in my school...
So said the memo today...We have no one to take copies for us and the copier we used to use in the teachers lounge is totally dead. I will be damned if I am paying $40 a week at Staples...NOOOO way!
Anyone have this at their school.
If you are in NYC I am sure you can relate.

Yep our school too and I teach on Long Island. We have to give a school aide our copies and she will do it. The problem is, it doesnt always get done when you need it

wow...that is absolutely ridiculous!! i've never heard of such a thing... when i taught in the city i never had that problem.

Our copier is now "monitored"
We have a stack of paper put in and it is placed one at a time to ensure no one is in excess..otherwise now the rule is to send out all large copies to the main office in the district. UGH! Can't just make something right then and there without a procedure now....PS It is Long Island school too!

We have somebody do our copies for us. I have a three-in-one printer, scanner, copier at home and I use it all the time. If you set it on fast draft it doesn't use too much ink. It has been a lifesaver for me.
