Are there any real deal work from home jobs out there?? Ya know, the ones you see listed in the papers & online?

I know a lot of people are looking for them. There was a post on the Career board listing a few "legit" places.

Most of the ads are not legit. That's the problem.

There are very few real jobs you can do from home unless you have your own business. REA, accountant, etc...

My MIL and I used put jewerly on the cards you buy them on in stores like Claires. We would pick up the materials daily in Farmingdale and you would have a day or two to work on it. You got paid by the piece or task (for example, 2 cents per clasp you closed, 3 cents per card, 1 cent per bagged piece).

There are certain companies like Southwest Airlines that use work at home workers for their customer service lines.

DH's grandma is a court transcriber at home. They send tapes to her and she types them.
