Overwhealmed
feeling a bit frantic. America's Choice is visiting on Wednesday and my room still isn't ready. I have floaters in my room all day. I have so much work to do and no time to do it. Yes, I know, I could be doing some now......I just need a half hour or so when I get home or I will lose my mind.
I had to leave a second job that I really wanted because I can't give it any attention. I do not want to hinder anybody from achieving their goals because I am not a help to them right now. My mind is going a mile a minute!!
GRRRR okay vent over.
Thanks

i think this is your first year??? don't worry ... it does get better... it all falls into place. the first year is the most stressful and exhausting... it gets easier every year.

Re: Overwhealmed
We had America's choice in my old school. It really was no big deal. Just make your bulletin boards are up with standards etc. and tell the kids that the visitors are coming to see them. Other than that, I don't think they ever listened to any of my lessons, they just examined my bulletin baords, because to them bulletin boards showed good teaching. I think they have a lot to learn.
Just do your best, and all will be well.

Re: Overwhealmed
Yes, I had to leave C.W. POst and with no notice at all. I just could not do it.
Each day I leave school and head straight for the gym. I run away my stress or I will go nuts. It is so calming to me. Then I go home, cook dinner, clean up , and start working. I am up until all hours and can't seem to get enough done. GRRRR
I just needed those four hours to do other things.

Re: Overwhealmed
Thanks ladies.
I had the worst week
I almost used an explicit word in front REALLY HORRIBLE class. I mean I started to say the word and stopped. They knew what I wanted to say. They are in seventh grade and they were all shocked that I even almost said it. I was shocked myself. I can't believe how angry I let myself get.

Always take a deep breath and try to count to at least 5 before you react
