Jumperoo's
I think these toys look like so much fun. However, my DH won't even consider getting one because he thinks that one baby will get caught in the spring part and choke. It appears that a lot of you have these. Did you have any issues with this? I'd rather get one exersaucer and one jumperoo, but I'm not sure he will go for it. Also my SIL mentioned something about babies legs getting hurt from the jumping. Do you know anything about this?

Re: Jumperoo's
My DS loves it. He's more into the jumping and DD is more into playing with the toys on it.
I think, if it's overused then possibly there could be problems but that's with anything. DD and DS are in it maybe 10 minutes each day, exersaucer ten minutes as well.
I've never heard of any injuries with them but then again, most of my friends didn't have one. I got one just so I can make sure both of them get more time working their legs.
We mostly play with toys on the floor as DD is a real "roller" and we practice sitting up a lot right now.

Re: Jumperoo's
My friend is an Occupational Therapist and told me not to get one. She said their knees are not yet developed and as they are jumping on their undeveloped knees it could cause problems. DDs never used one.

Re: Jumperoo's
I heard the knee thing is not an issue if you use it correctly. We had one of each and would leave them in it for a 1/2 hour at a time. MY BOYS LOVED IT!!!

Re: Jumperoo's
I registered for this one from Babies R Us. Fisher Price. I thought it looked a little better than the ones that suspend from the ceiling and I can move it from room to room.
