food shopping
normally for big shopping, dh and i go together and one of us pushes the double stroller and one pushes the cart. if i have to run for a few items i can go by myself and use the basket under the snap and go.
but right now i am so in desperate need of groceries, it's terrible. i don't even have the basics like fruit, bread, eggs, etc. it's more than a few items.
i was thinking of trying with one baby in the car seat on top of the shopping cart and the other in the baby bjorn. i really want to attempt it, but i'm nervous. has anyone done this? or do you have another suggestion on how to do this?

Re: food shopping
YES! I've done this and the girls have a blast. It's definitely doable, just make sure you put whoever in the shopping cart first, then the other in the bjorn.

Re: food shopping
I used to push them in the stroller and pull a cart behind me.

That's what I was thinking too! I've never used them, but have heard raves.

i checked their site, unfortunately they don't deliver to my zip code.
we ordered from fresh direct and i really thought it was overpriced. luckily we used a gift certificate from dh's job.
i ended up going shopping by myself after dh got home. i was nervous about getting home with all the bags and not being able to park by my house. i live in queens and parking is an issue. i couldn't figure out how i would carry in the babies (which is hard enough) and all the groceries.
thank you fire island love for the suggestion. i am still going to try this method, just not when i have major shopping to do.
