Tips on where to take pics outdoors
So I am going to have a friend take some pics of me but don't know where to go. Any suggestions? I was looking for parks/beaches in the Huntington, Northport, Smithtown areas.

There is a cool beach called macama(sp?) beach. It is off of 25A just before the shopping center where headlines and the liquor store are. Turn down macamaw rd-it is not spelled that way but close to it. It's rocky and has huge cliffs I think it would be a cool place to take pics. You can also try coindre hall in Huntington.

You should ask nrthshgrl on the parenting board. I believe she lives in Northport and takes AMAZING photos. I'm sure she knows some beautiful places!

Northport harbor/park is beautiful and there are still a lot of leaves on the trees. We were there Sunday and it was really pretty. Took some nice pics. But I would do it soon, where ever you go, because winter is coming fast and the leaves are falling!
