Re: anyone else feel this way?
It's totally normal to feel that way. And when the baby gets here you'll somehow know what to do, but there will be days that you feel this way. Luckily, there are boards like these where you can ask other mommies for help!

I totally feel this way!! I have such anxiety over it. I feel like i need to take notes from what all the moms on here say and what my MIL tells me! I'm sure it will come naturally... HOPEFULLY!!!

I think it's pretty normal to feel this way. I'm sure we're all worried that we don't know how to be the perfect mommies...but, it'll just happen. Don't worry too much...

Re: anyone else feel this way?
I"m in total panic mode---I feel like nothing is done and I am so afraid I won't know what to do with her once she gets here. And I'm terrified of post partum depression since I tend to get depressed normally sometimes.

Re: anyone else feel this way?
Oh definitely- but for me- its not suddenly. Its growing and growing. I figure- they don't come with instructions, and plenty of poeple have done it.
It helps that Ihave a friend with a 1 year old who is so well behaved and has such good habits, and my sister had a baby in June. I babysat her with DH for the first time. She started crying but I got her to calm down (after about 10 minutes). It just showed me that all it is trying things out and figuring out what works.

Re: anyone else feel this way?
I am scared S^ I & T - all of my anxities are actually postponing TTC for me. not anxiety of the baby 100% but I have anxiety issues other than, where I feel this would make it worse.

Re: anyone else feel this way?
It's completely normal - and in the end, we all wing it & ask our pediatricians, friends, family, etc for advice...oh & LIF's parenting board.
Have you started having dreams where you forgot to feed the baby or that you left the baby somewhere?

Re: anyone else feel this way?
thanks everyone, atleast I'm not alone! I haven't had any weird dreams or anything, right now my anxiety is more over preparing for the baby to come, I'm scard I won't know and have everything I need, but we all get through it somehow!
