That game was heart wrenching. By the end of the final inning I was laying in front of tv hoping for a miracle. The guy the looks a bit like Daughtry came trhough. I could not bare to watch the Indians mess up another inning.

That's how I am Em..totally a Met fan at heart but since they royally screwed their season might as well hope for the best for the Yanks. Because at the end of the day I just want NY to be on top

I just wrote somethign similiar to a friend. I don't hate hte mets enough to wish such a heartfelt loss to be bestowed upon them.
Makes me say, HEY at least they made teh playoffs. Not like the Yanks blew a lead they had since the first day or the season or anything

It is all good fun.
I am sorry, but I cannot root for the yanks. Although, after having the Mets suffer a heartbreaking loss last Sunday, I can totally empathize with you all.
ETA: My DH would disown me and my grandfather would roll over in his grave. LOL.
