Training your hair

Has anyone had to train their hair to do something. Mine has a horrible cowlick in the front so it never lays flat across the band line and tends to part down the middle. I would like to try to train it to part to the side for a think Nicole Richie bang but it doesn't seem to work. Any tips? Chat Icon

Re: Training your hair

I had to train my hair when I grew my bangs out. I had them until I was 16 and now I've been without bangs for 11 years. When they were growing out I pinned them back a lot with decorative bobby pins. Eventually they went the way I wanted them. I probably used a lot of hairspray too. It was a long time ago so I don't remember. But I do remember the bobby pins.

I had to do the same. Even if I am not doing my hair I at least do the bangs everyday.

Bobby pins were my best friend when growing out my bangs.
