WHO DO YOU USE? I'M IN DESPERATE NEED OF A HAIR STYLIST/COLORIST PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please recommend your hair dresser and colorist. Mine just left without a trace ( had an appt with her next Sat  ) and I'm really due for a full head of highlights and cut.
Baby is due in like 3 weeks and I would really like to get my hair done before he or she comes.
Where do you go, who do you use?

i would recommend any of the colorists at symmetry in stonybrook. and nicole w. for a cut. 751-6363
or christine as a colorist and denise for a cut at finale salon in setauket.

I use Salon Opus in Williston Park in Nassau. Billy the owner does my highlights....I get many compliments on my highlights

when i lived on LI, i went to cutting performance in levittown. dawn did my hair (my mom still uses her).

I go to Lauren for my haircuts- she is amazing.
Not sure who to recommend for color there, but they do great color as well (I have seen people walk out of there after getting their hair colored- I just don't color my hair . . .)

I go to Hot Hair on the corner of North Ocean Avenue and Route 112. I have been to many of the girls there and they have each done a great job. Plus, you can usually get an appointment or just walk in on short notice.

I use GINA at SALON DUE MILA on Merrick Road, in Merrick.
SHE'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pricey, but worth it.

I don't know if a colorist in NYC is an option, but Carrie at the Rita Hazan salon is AMAZING! I won't go anywhere else since I found her...

I don't know where you live, but I just went to Hairsay in Garden City Park and used Christine for the cut (it's great!) I know I found a color rec. somewhere on either liweddings or lifamilies, but it was a nice place...good luck and feel good with your new little baby!
