Need Help w/ Body Sculpting

I ran 3.5 - 5 miles about 4 -5 times a week.

BUT I have been totally ignoring weight training and body sculpting.

I have hand/free weights at home that I can use. I have a pair of 3 lb, 5 lb, 8 lb & 10 lb.

Can anyone suggestion a routine I could follow each week?

I kinda get stuck when I start using them and then give up.

I feel if I was 'assigned' a routine I could follow it and be accountable for doing the routine.

I was thinking, once I have a routine, I can log it here, like I do my running.

Why don't you try doing one of The Firm videos a couple of times a week? They use all of the weight increments that you mentioned. That would be the easiest solution.......Or, you could do a traditional split routine (i.e. chest and biceps one day, back and triceps another day, legs and shoulders on yet another day.....)
There are all KINDS of exercises that I could list for you, and you should definitely mix up what you're doing for maximum effect.

You could also go to the Muscle & Fitness website for ideas on exercises. Write down at least 2 exercises for each body part, and follow that routine.

One last thing - do you have the Fit TV channel? Cathe Friedrich has a workout show where she does some cardio and then weights. She's awesome!

I know how you feel Tara! I have the same weights at home and I use them for a few days and then forget about them. Usually the workouts I try are from Self, Shape or Fitness magazine. I was thinking about cutting out the ones I think are good from the magazines and maybe finding some online, and assigning a couple to each day of the week Chat Icon I will let you know if I come across anything interesting.
