PJ's for hospital (for me)
Can I bring PJ's with pants or does it have to be a nightgown?

It can be pants - whate ver you are normally comfortable wearing. I asked that same question with my first b/c the idea of wearing a nightgown was entirely unappealing.

Re: PJ's for hospital (for me)
I had a pants set but ended up wearing the hospital gown because I had a c/s and anything on my waist was a no-go.

Re: PJ's for hospital (for me)
I had a c/s with Tara and I wore pants that time too. I guess just make sure theyre super comfy. Both times, the first night I wore the gown but after a shower and such, I was able to get into my own stuff.

Re: PJ's for hospital (for me)
I had a c-section, i brought pants n a nightgown... I wore the pants the entire time... ( just pulled them up real high like a dork) I just felt more comfortable knowing I had pants to covers the jumbo pad in my underwear!

Re: PJ's for hospital (for me)
I brought a pants outfit - I'm just more comfy in them in general. Not a big nightgown fan.

Re: PJ's for hospital (for me)
I had a c-section and I wore sweatpants all the time. I like to keep everything in place, since you're doing alot of bleeding.

Re: PJ's for hospital (for me)
Honestly it all depends when you get to your room after having the baby... I ended up wearing the hospital gown the first night since I did not get there until 7 pm and there was no way I was in any shape to change to pajamas. I had a nightgown with a robe that was comfy..
Remember, if you hav a v birth you are only in the hospital 48 from time of birth.. I personally didn't use half the stuff that I brought with me to the hospital..

Re: PJ's for hospital (for me)
I wore PJs with pants. Most fo the girls on the floor wore Pjs with pants. I found you do a lot of walking around in the hospital and at times it is hard to keep a bathrobe on and closed.

Re: PJ's for hospital (for me)
I hate nightgowns! I always seem to get all twisted up in them when I sleep. I like pants sets. The ones with buttons on the top are probably good for nursing too since you can just unbutton a few buttons when you need to. Does VS sell PJs in the store or just through the catalog? I have a credit check for VS that I need to get rid of.

Re: PJ's for hospital (for me)
I brought nightgowns and pants -- and ended up wearing the pants most of the time because I was just more comfortable in them. They were very thin lightweight cotton capri pants with a drawstring and I just pulled them up high -- and it was very comfortable and never bothered my incision.

I agree with this 100%........I had the baby at 8pm so didn't get to the room until about 9:45....I kept the hospital gown on that night. The next day I wore sweats and a tank and the following day I was on my way home. I packed a suitcase of things and a diaperbag with my personals. I hardly used anything at all and made DH take most of the stuff home the day after I had the baby so we would have less to bring home later.
