Need a quick response..
Two parts: 1) would you ever negotiate salary over email if the offer was made over email?
and
2) Do you always ask for more of a starting salary, even if their offer is decent?

Re: Need a quick response..
Personally I wouldn't try to negotiate via email. Pick up the phone if you want to talk money.
Second, it can never hurt to ask for more $$, but you might not get it. Before you accept a job you should know what you can expect to make in a certain job in a certain area. If you think the offer is fair, there's nothing wrong with taking it without asking for more.
Asking for more $ can backfire on you, but as long as what you're asking for is reasonable you should be fine. Good luck!
