Flight from ISP to Tampa-??
Has anyone ever took a flight from Islip to Tampa on Southwest? I am going next month on a 11am flight and wondered what kind of food (if any!) is given to you and if they have a movie or show to watch.

I flew from Islip to West Palm on Southwest and there was no movie or food. I think maybe there were crackers or peanuts and beverages.
ETA: I had never flown Southwest before - so I don't know if you know this but check in online the night before your flight so you are in the first group they let on the plane.
DH and I didn't know this and we didn't sit together there or on the way back.

Yes we just flew that exact flight one month ago. No movie. They give out bags of stuff. Like pretzels, crackers or peanuts. Bring a good book. It isn't a bad flight at all.

I guess I will have to stop at Mamma Lombardis in the airport and get lunch to bring on the plane-lol!!!

We flew to Tampa 2 weeks ago from McArthur and were thrilled to see Mama Lomarbis! Too bad I ate before I got there!
You just get pretzels or peanuts and soda, tea or coffee. Alcoholic beverages are $4 I believe.
It's a great flight! It's just double what my daily commute is, so I just read as usual.

I flew the opposite last weekend, Southwest Tampa to Islip (on the way down I flew from Islip to Ft Lauderdale). I did NOT see Mama Lombardi's!! In fact, I was very disappointed in the food selections at the airport. Guess I must have totally missed it....Anyway, as others have said, no meals and no movies. Otherwise, it wasn't a bad flight at all.
