Spain and Italy in late April
Anyone been to Spain and/or Italy in late April?
I'm curious about average weather, what's open, things to do, etc. Easter is in March in 2008 so those festivities will be over with.
Any recommendations on must-see cities?

Re: Spain and Italy in late April
We were in Barcelona last May and the weather was gorgeous and warm/hot, I would assume April would be the same, maybe a bit cooler. If you want details about Barcelona, I can tell you tons of great things to do/see there. It's an amazing city.
Italy will probably have great weather, too - warm, but not hot, but don't take my word for it, I've never been there that time of year. I've been to Rome, Florence and Venice. Rome was my absolute favorite, because there's so much history and there's such a beautiful juxtaposition of ancient and modern.
FM me if you have any questions.

Re: Spain and Italy in late April
We were in BCN early April this year. we had a couple of chilly, rainy days where we needed a light jacket/sweater but also had some beautiful sunny days where I wore tank tops. It's usually warmer there than here in NY. Remember, it's a Mediterrean city!
