I Can't Take...
The Farty Smell in my classroom....please someone make it go away...I must have the gassiest kids on earth

OMG! Someone tooted in my class today. I saw the reaction domino down the row--shirts over noses, hands waving in front of nose, etc. There is always that one detective in the class who HAS to know who did it.

Happens all the time in my K class. They hardly notice it, and i have no idea where it comes from..it can be any of them. When your that age you really don't care!!

Oh boy i know.. we tell them that if they need to do that then they need to go to the bathroom.
one of my kids goes .. " I just threw a fart" I was like HUH? you can throw farts?
this is a frist grader BTW

I had the "throw a fart" conversation with one of my kids a couple weeks ago. We did an activity where they had to pick a letter, and write about something that started with that letter. This kid picked F and wrote a very entertaining paragraph about farts.
I am grateful to have a dull sense of smell.
