Where can I take a sewing class
I looked at the Nassau CC continuing ed and they don't have one.

I don't know if you want to trek to NYC but the there are tons of classes at FIT.
I took one there just recently and learned alot about how to sew by hand - including hemming and shortening sleeves!
Some girls even went all out and created really cool purses/pouches!
They also have sewing and tailoring. :)
