More calories when you stay up late?

Saturday I ate the same amount of calories I normally do when dieting. I normally go to bed by 10. We went to a party and by 11:30 my hands were shaking so bad I had to eat something. I was so upset because I ate more calories than I had allotted.
Has this happened to anyone else?

This is always a problem for me.

I stay up very late every night.

I am starving before I go to bed and wind up eating something.

For you though, it sounds like a once in a blue moon thing, so I wouldnt worry.
