I already gained 6 pounds and I am only 11 1/2 weeks!!!
I went to the ob today for my 2nd check-up and I gained 6 pounds. The dr said it was fine but I feel at this rate I am going to be huge
I on a great note, I got to hear the baby's hb again

I gained 6 my first tri as well, now I'm up to 25 which is right on target, so things have a way of working out.

Congrats on hearing the hb again!!!
And, don't worry too much about the weight...as long as your dr. is not worried about it and you pretty much stay within the target, you'll be fine! I don't even want to tell you how much I've gained...

Glad you got to hear the HB again!! Its such a wonderful sound!! dont worry about the weight gain...if your Dr isnt worried you shouldnt be. I gained alot during 1st and 2nd trimester or so i thought. Then it kinda leveled out and so far at 35 weeks i only gained 22 pounds. You need the weight for your little bean... its all for the baby!! Thats what i always tell myself!!!

it's ok, i gained 8 in the first trimester, my doc said btwn 3-10 in the first is ok

Don't worry about the weight i was sick my whole first trimester and I gained almost 10 because all I could eat was carbs and drink gingerale... And my second I was back to eating a little healthier and gained weight much more slowly now on the third and I am sure the lbs will start packing on...

I gained 1lb a week until I was 30 weeks then started putting on 2lbs per week. I gained 50+ when all was said and done, but I had 2 perfectly healthy babies so I guess Im the type to gain a lot while pregnant.

I was +5 lbs. at my 10 week appointment. Don't worry...just don't go crazy with eating!

Try not to focus on the weight gain! You are fine! I have already gained 15 lbs at only 16 weeks.
