Took a tumble today!
So I was walking down the steps near my classroom (I'm on the second floor) and I slipped (thanks to my slippery shoes) and fell down 10 steps! It was really scary, but thankfully I am okay. I landed on my back and slid most of the way down. I am just really sore!!! My entire upper body is hurting. I was just glad that none of the kids saw it. lol My friend was with me, and once we knew I was ok, we were able to laugh about it. I was so embarrassed! I kept ice on it all day and will probably do it again tomorrow. Everyone please be careful when walking down steps!

Did you file an accident report? I only ask because I did the exact same thing two years ago--rather, I fell going UP the steps. I bashed the front part of my right leg against a metal plate that was on the stairs. I sucked it up and went home. Two days later, it swelled up. I found out that I had a hairline fracture.
If I had reported it, I could have collected disability and had my medical bills and copays taken care of. It may be too late now, but I tell everyone I know so they can learn from my mistake!
