NYC Floating Teachers?
Anyone here a floating teacher in a middle or a high school? I was just offered a position as a floating teacher. Just would like your comments and or advice.

What is F status? They way they were talking it seems as if they rotate teachers to floating status. So next year I should not be a floater, I think.

No , but in my school floaters are those teachers who do not have thier own classroom.
If that is the case, take the job. When you have a classroom you are expected to have standards based work and comments up all the time, charts of pervious work, and a bunch of other stuff.
