boots - I need an education
I decided I am going to be trendy this season, or attempt to be! I never really wore boots before because I feel like I'm too short (5'1) and they'll make my legs look even shorter... can anyone with some style suggest a style for me? What is protocol? Do you only wear boots with jeans tucked in? With a knee length skirt and black tights? Is suede going to get ruined really easily? Please help!!! I also have a small budget, so I'm talking about something at Target, etc... Thanks!!

Re: boots - I need an education
I am 5'2 and I wear knee high boots all the time- I think they make me look taller
my new fav why to wear them is with leggings (same color as boots) and a sweater dress
I rarely do boots tucked into jeans- unless they are uggs
if you get faux suede- which most boots under $99 are going to be- you wont have a problem- I have a great pair that are going on there 3rd season- and they look brand new
the ones ar target were pretty bad IMO- I would try payless maybe or marshalls
