I don't think so.
Sometimes I would use them on the day I earned them or throughout the week.
ETA: I was walking 4-5 times a week, and sometimes twice in one day (during lunch at work). So maybe that's why it was working for me to do it this way. I rarely used my extra weekly points though.
Also, now that I recall if you are doing it online the plan manager takes it off if it's used on the day you earned them, otherwise it takes it away from your weekly points. Sometimes I had to do my own calculations, knowing that I wasn't "really" going over my points!
Now I need to just get back on the plan!!

yes - you can use some or all of your activity points but only on the day you earned them. they don't carry over.

yes you do, but you are only allowed to eat up to 4 of the points, even if you earn more than 4 per day.
you can't carry over points to another day.
