What kind of crockpot do you have?
I want a crockpot for Christmas. What kind do I ask for? How many quarts do I need? TIA!

ours is a rival, I believe its a 4.5 or 5 quart crockpot. Either of those sizes will be fine. We also have a smaller one because the larger one can prepare enough food for a small country.

I am looking for one myself actually b/c our basement flooded when we moved and ruined my brand new crock pot!!! 
I'm looking into this one but want to see if target has it b/c they put theirs on sale all the time.

I think I'm going to go with the Rival 6 quart - I know its big but any time I use it I'll be making enough to freeze leftovers so it should be good. Thanks ladies!

We have a rival also. Some things to make sure the crockpot you get has: removable insert (easier to clean and serve. And the timer switches to warm when the cooking is done.
I just got one a few weeks ago and I LOVE it!
