My girl is in the hospital
DH let Reesie out in the yard by herself for a few minutes yesterday and i guess she ate some mushrooms, sticks, leaves & grass. An hour later she was drooling REALLY bad and then threw all that stuff up. We took her to the vet and they hooked her up to an IV, took blood, and made her drink this charcoal stuff to absorb any toxins in the mushrooms. That vet visit was $300.
Then the vet told us she should be monitored & have the IV for the next 24 hours at the emergency vet. She's been there since last night and will most likely come home tomorrow. She is doing really well, I guess they just have to keep an eye on her and her blood work to make sure she doesnt get kidney failure. The estimate for that visit is $995. It is all worth it though for her to be ok. I am definitely looking into pet insurance now.
I miss my Reesie! The house is so empty without her

She came home last sunday and she's doing great. But now she's got eyes on her at all times!
