question
i have posted recently about having a very irregular period. i only get it like once every 3 months. i have been ttc and havent had the best of luck...well af knocked on my door on October 30. it went up until Noverember 11. i was wondering when i should try to ttc again...should i start now and wish for much baby dust...help me girls???? i want an early christmas gift to give my family...

Its hard when you are just starting out and I am not sure if any of us will be able to help you pinpoint. Because your cycles are long and ireegular I would suggest reading the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. This book will help you to learn what signs to look out for right before ovulation.

In all honesty, I would see a doctor. Having AF a few times a year is indicating that something is off balanced. To have AF for 12 days, is also, a lot of blood loss. If that happens again, you need to take an iron supplement. Please get your hormones tested.
