Hi- new here
Hi,
i found out 2 weeks ago im having twins. so far so good. i had an us today and everything looks great. i am a little scared about caring for 2 and the extra work and epense. but i always wanted twins and felt i was meant to have them. i had a rough year including a MC in sept and said the only thing that would make up for this is having twins! i guess be careful what you wish for.....
any advice or tips how to get thru this? Do most of you stay at home? do you have help? THANKS!

First off Congrats! Twins are a true blessing. The pregnancy, while high risk for me, was pretty easy. The newborn stage is tough.....ask for and accept lots of help. Now that my boys are 14 months things are amazing. And I work full-time.

congratulations!! twins are awesome!!
mine are 5 months old and it has been some magical journey so far!! i am currently a sahm. my dh is awesome about being involved and helping and we were fortunate that he was home for the first 9 weeks on paternity leave. i have a very involved and helpful family that i am so thankful for.
as for advice right now, rest, rest, rest!! you are going to feel like you can do a lot, but try to rest often. you don't want to risk premature labor. join a mother of multiples group (MOM). get twin books. set up as much help as possible now. towards the end of your pregnancy make or get from others a ton of meals for freezing and buy giant loads of paper plates and cups from bjs or costco. trust me, you are not going to want to cook or wash dishes!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! There will be moments when you are totally overwhelmed and think you can't do it, but those moments pass quickly, and you learn you are more capable then you thought. You will absolutely LOVE being a twin mommy!!

As others said accept all invitations of help - you will need it - especially in the beginning.
I love being a twin mommy - every time I look at them - I am truly amazed.
I do work full time and we manage quite well - everything always works itself out - just remember that and don't stress.
