Just curious...
I am gearing up for my IVF cycle and we met with the doctor today. We are dealing with male factor (everything has checked out ok with me) and I am young so the doctor only wants to put one embie back. Now I don't really want to go through the whole process and risk the one embie not taking, not to mention we both *think* we would be ok with twins. She said the choice is up to us (we'll have a few weeks to think aobut it). I was just curious as to your opinions on this as you all have twins. I know it will be insanely challenging at times, but would you want it any different? If you could do it again would you prefer a singleton? I hope I am not affending anyone as I am truly looking for honest opinions!! Thanks so much

Re: Just curious...
I would never for one second change having twins. It's a high-risk pregnancy, but I guess a lot of singleton pregnancies could be high-risk too - that's the only scary thing. Other than that - watching them interact is incredible, right from the start having two babies to love and to love you back!
Sometimes I think I would love twins again. I am almost sad to think that my next pregnancy would not be twins. So to answer your question - if someone had the *choice* whether or not to have twins, I would say yes, definitely!
Oh and as for the challenging part - ah you figure it out, as long as you are organized your day goes smoothly!

I wouldn't change a thing DSs were the best surprise we'd ever received and I enjoy every day more and more. If you and your DH are comfortable with the idea of twins, put 2 back! You will be rewarded wtih two wonderful little beings who love you unconditionally and will forever have a unique bond with one another. Their interactions are beautiful and never cease to amaze me.

Re: Just curious...
we went through IVF abnd put 2 back, and I am so happy to have done that. If I had to do it all over I would put 2 back again. Having twins is a blessing, Yes it is hard work, but so is having a singleton.
I say put back 2

Re: Just curious...
I agree with everyone else - I wouldn't change a thing.
It is a LOT of work but I already had one 7 years earlier and thought that was a LOT of work. So - I believe and I truly do - that you God doesn't give you more than you can handle.
