I usually do biscotti for gifts and to bring to parties
I use the Sandra lee semi-homemade recipe that uses cake mixes

I'm not one that bakes from scratch. So I buy the pillsbury cookie dough with designs on them. The dough is pre-cut and the designs are already on them. All I gotta do is put them in the oven...I have no shame right?

To expand on this you can buy the plain sugar cookie dough. Roll it out with some flour. Cut shapes with cookie cutters. Buy vanilla frosting or make your own with confectioners sugar, meringue and water and add food dye. Then frost to decorate--you can add sprinkles, those little silver balls, etc.
