Hotel in London?
Any recommendations? Something centrally located. We just need it for one or two nights...the rest of the time we will be staying in a timeshare with my MIL and SIL

Re: Hotel in London?
I stayed at the Harrington Hall Hotel in South Kensington on my HM two years ago. It was a lovely hotel in a great location, only a blocks walk away from the Underground.

Re: Hotel in London?
One of the girls mentioned a hotel right on the Thames, on the South Bank. You want to stay central, but remember the tube stops running at about Midnight.

Re: Hotel in London?
When I was in London for a business trip, I stayed at The Dorchester. It is one of the best hotels out there. If you can afford a night there, I think it is definitely worth it. The experience alone.. People come from miles away just to have "Tea at the Dorcester"

Re: Hotel in London?
Thanks for all the suggestions...I am going to look into all of them...it will probably be our only night alone on this vacation so a nice place would be great!

Re: Hotel in London?
If you are travelling on a budget, my sister and I stayed at the Park International in Kensington in 2005. It is the cutest hotel in an AMAZING location. The tube is on the corner, and we were up the street from Harrods, the V&A museum, etc. It is not a Ritz, but it does not cost as much (and with the exchange rate ) I would stay there again
