its not fair...
i know its sad but one thing i looked foward to as a teacher were snow days - its like being a kid again.. and NYC succks with these - they just don't give them. Dont they know some of us travel from far away lands? haha
My brother subs on LI and got off 2 days last year and there wasnt even that much snow.

YOu just use sick days...it ***** but it's not worth getting into an accident over...I am just thankful to have a job

I agree - this is what everyone did when I worked in NYC
on a side note - we were off when hurricane floyd (99?) caused major flooding

true - i didnt do that last year and prob wont this year.
I teach CTT and the teacher I work with I car pool together, we live in the same town so its hard to decide that one of us isnt going to want to make the trip due to weather, we cant BOTH be out either.. makes it so hard.
