I would check OLAS and honestly just mass mail your resume. That's how I got 2 of my jobs. They don't always advertise for subs but many districts are always in need of them.

call the districts HR Dept, and many will ask you to come in right away to fill out paperwork.

Before I left NY I was signed up for Port Washington and Garden City.
